Everyone else was posting and I was feeling guilty

but I just couldn't get it in my head that I needed to finish this piece. The base block has been pieced for weeks now, but I wasn't happy with my embellishment/beading ideas so I just had to let them stew around in my head a while. I'm combining the Crazy Quilt Journal Challenge 2012 project with the BJP and throwing in the Color Palette Challenge *and* Take a Stitch Tuesday as well. So my monthly theme will be as much driven by these other challenges as by the month itself.
